Hello! I am Shante Parrish, the founder of Jump for Success Wonderschool. I have always worked with kids - whether it was babysitting my nieces and nephews when I was younger, watching my own son grow, or in my prior jobs supporting students with special needs. Becoming a mom, however, really pushed me to open my own program and put my 12 years of work in education to great use; I believe parents deserve great childcare no matter where they live. I have my CDA and am certified with the state of New York.

The United Federation of Teachers has awarded Shante Parrish the Provider Appreciation Award for Outstanding Providers. Shante Parrish is the Owner/Operator Jump for Success, Corp., a group family child care program in the Bronx, NYC. Her program is a QUALITYstarsNY rated program, and also partners with NYC Department of Education as a 3k program.

At Jump for Success, We believe that when you use a play-based curriculum children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured.

It is our goal to provide an environment that engages children with developmentally-appropriate activities and materials. In our program, children will feel supported as they engage with new ideas and learnings.

Jump for Success Wonderschool is located in a welcoming, warm apartment in the Hunts Point neighborhood of the Bronx. Children will have some outdoor time everyday at a local park or playground. Connecting with nature lets children gain deeper knowledge of themselves and the world.

We are located less than 10 minutes away from the Longwood Ave station for the 6 line and directly next to the Bx46 line.

Our programs are designed for three-year-olds to easily reach their minds and hone their skills while learning with us. Jump For Success Corp provides free services as an option to get a sense of our teaching first. Jump For Success Corp is your best choice when it comes to child care. Young minds need to start learning as soon as they can, which will benefit them later on in life. It will allow them to discover and sharpen their skills and strive for their dreams.

We ensure that children get healthy meals

• Our program follows nutritional guidelines to support students with healthy (but tasty) food throughout the day!

Allow us to keep children interested

• Every two weeks we introduce a theme or a topic that helps us build vocabulary, choose different activities, and support learning.

• We use teaching strategies as part of teacher conference

Keeping parents informed is an important part of our work.

• Not only will we chat with you at the end of the day about what we did, but as part of using teaching strategies we will also send home weekly reports for parents who would like them and do sit-down parent/teacher conferences at certain times throughout the year.
