Nuestros profesores

Hello there! My name is Jineth and I am the founding director of Jineth Group Family Daycare & Wonderschool. As a mother, I knew how important it was for my daughter to have a strong foundation before she went to school. This doesn’t just mean academics, but helping her become a good person and learning how to be a friend to others. As I looked for daycares that provided this experience, I couldn’t find them - so I started my own. I had experience working with children in my own home country and am currently completing classes to get my CDA. I love helping children and parents at such an important time in their lives!

Filosofía

Jineth Group Family Daycare & Wonderschool is a play-based program located in the Bronx. We believe that play allows children to learn best through interactions with adults, peers, and the world around them. Our space has different learning areas that let children focus on engaging with developmentally appropriate materials. We have a mix of free play and guided activities that use children’s interest to guide them.

Ubicación

Our program is located in a secure apartment building with an elevator in the Soundview neighborhood of the Bronx. We are accessible to families at the Morrison Av-Soundview station along the 6 and Bx4 and Bx4A bus lines. Our outdoor time comes through walks outdoors and time at nearby parks.

Acerca de nuestro programa

Our space was created for kids. Whether it’s the block center during free play or the art projects that we do during table time, we have a wide variety of fun things that happen throughout the day. In addition, the children sometimes help me prepare our snack or food and we think a lot about how what we do can help prepare them for the real world.

We share what happens with our parents and families. Many parents love our program’s closed Instagram account, where you can see updates, photos, and videos of all the children in our care.

We love to explore the neighborhood and stay active. We know that outside time is important, so we’ll visit our local library, take a walk around the block, or go to local community centers. There is so much in the area directed to kids.

Safety and security are incredibly important for us. While our building already requires each guest be buzzed in, we also have a camera system inside our space for extra security.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application! Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.

4. Enroll

After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
