Filozofi

At Mary’s Little Lambs Learning Centers, we follow the Play-Based curriculum philosophy, which is a non-academic approach to developing skills designed to provide a firm foundation for later academic success. We help your child develop feelings of security, accomplishment, and self-esteem while living the daily and weekly rhythms that are woven into the cycle of the year. On any given day, we may enjoy art, storytelling, movement, and local excursions to experience the world around us. Children are encouraged to explore and learn through unstructured play, which fosters lifelong creativity and intellectual curiosity.

Konsènan pwogram nou an

There are few things as precious to us as our little ones. Entrusting the care of your children to any one can be a daunting task, so choosing the best childcare option needs to be as simple and stress-free as possible. That is why the founder of Mary’s Little Lamb Learning Center in North Las Vegas felt the need to create a safe, dynamic, and convenient place to welcome the young people of our city while putting their parents’ concerns at ease.

Mary Mitchell established Mary’s Little Lamb Learning Center in April of 2019. The center provides care for children from six weeks to fifteen years of age. Students are divided according to their age groups, and they are provided a diverse range of learning materials to expand their individual academic strengths and assist in any challenges. Phonics, sign language, communications skills, math, science, and more are all taught during the day, and the children are given breakfast, lunch, and two snacks. Parents are welcome to provide additional food choices if they choose to, but it is not required. A varied schedule is followed each day, allowing the children to tackle different subjects and keep them alert and active throughout the time they spend there.

Mitchell recently retired after thirty years of working for the Clark County School District. After having successfully raised four biological and six adopted children, she longed to remain an integral part of rearing, developing, and nurturing young people, which inspired her to open the doors of Mary’s Little Lamb. She works hard to keep the student to teacher ratio small; the center currently services thirteen children total and has two teachers. Mary remains very hands-on in the daily running of the learning center, caring for and teaching the children on a daily basis.
