Our Teachers

Elizabeth Jimenez, Center Director

I am no stranger to Head Start and Early Childhood Education; I have worked for Head Start just shy of 23 years. Our Head Start program is under a new grantee, Youth Development Incorporated (YDI). This agency has been serving New Mexico for 55 years! I am also a former parent as 2 /3 of my children attended Head Start. I was able to implementi skills aquirred as a teacher in to parenthood ad it has made a huge difference. I am very passionate about this program as I have seen the successes through the years .

Philosophy

Our philosophy is based on the belief that a successful program is built with collaboration from staff, teachers, children, parents and the community. Parents are the children’s first educators. We recognize that children have unique differences; however, they also go through universal stages of development.

Location

Our center is located in a residential area close enought to main street if using public transportation. Our center is close to downtown Main St..
