Filosofía

I believe that it is very important for children to play because they learn how to interact with other children and develop social and motor skills. Children in my program feel happy and safe. They are healthy and strong. They enjoy nutritious meals, taking naps, and exercising. It is important to talk, listen and read to the children. All of these will help develop language.

Acerca de nuestro programa

My mission is to provide family childcare in a loving environment. I accept children ages 6 weeks-12-years-old. We are open 7 days per week, 24-hours per day. *We provide overnight care.

Our curriculum provides an integrated approach for all areas of child development. This curriculum is designed to be academically sound and practical. The activities facilitate learning through hands-on activities between children and their environment.

Each learning center contains activities with a variety of curriculum areas, such as; art, language, learning games, movement, music, science and snack. All our ideas are developmentally appropriate for children.

Learning Centers are set up inside and outside of our classroom and encourage children to explore and interact with other children. Learning activities are planned with careful thought, monitored by adults serving as guides to children. Teachers respond to questions, engage in conversations, and challenge children’s thinking. Free time/play time is important for understanding the content across the curriculum.

The children’s daily activities are based on the following areas: large and small motor skills, indoor and outdoor play and learning, quiet and active activities, child initiated and teacher-guided activities, individual, group, planned and spontaneous activities.

Our environment provides a stimulating, secure climate for children. The learning environment includes exploration, interaction with others and the development of social skills as they work and learn.

Children are given the freedom to use play to express their ideas, feelings, and understanding of their surroundings. Activities help children make connections between the curriculum and their own lives and experiences.
