Filosofía

Peralta’s Playhouse 2 is more than just a Spanish bilingual play-based early childhood education program. It embodies a philosophical approach to education that emphasizes the importance of play, language, and cultural diversity in the development of young children.

At the heart of Peralta’s Playhouse 2 is the belief that children learn best through play. Play is not just a fun activity for children, but a fundamental part of their cognitive, social, and emotional development. Through play, children are able to explore, experiment, and discover new ideas and concepts, building a foundation for future learning.

Language is also a central component of Peralta’s Playhouse 2. By providing a bilingual program, children are exposed to two languages from an early age, giving them a head start in becoming bilingual and promoting cognitive flexibility. Furthermore, language is a vehicle for communication, and Peralta’s Playhouse 2 recognizes the importance of communication in building relationships and understanding the world around us.

Peralta’s Playhouse Inc. is a local, non-profit childcare provider and educational organization founded in 2001. We offer a wider variety of program options for children 6 weeks-12 years of age. There are two locations in Valencia County, New Mexico. Peralta’s Playhouse (Peralta)
