My Journey in Early Childhood Care A 14 Year Experience Over the past 14 years, I have had the beautiful opportunity to dedicate my life to caring for infants, toddlers, 3-year-olds, and Pre-K children. This journey has been more than just a career it has been a source of joy, personal growth, and deep fulfillment. Every child I have cared for has brought something unique into my life, teaching me patience, empathy, and the importance of nurturing each stage of early development with love and intention. Working with children during these formative years has given me a deep appreciation for their individual needs and personalities. From soothing newborns to guiding curious toddlers and preparing preschoolers for their first steps into the world of learning, I have learned how to adapt my approach to support each child’s growth. Every smile, every small milestone like a first word, a new step, or the excitement of recognizing colors and shapes has reminded me of the powerful impact caregivers have during early childhood. These 14 years have not only shaped my professional path but also the person I am today. I am deeply grateful for every child and every family that has allowed me to be part of their lives during such a precious time.

Our philosophy is centered around the belief that early childhood is the most important time for building the foundation of a child’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development. We view each child as a unique individual with their own strengths, interests, and ways of learning. Our role is to guide and support them through developmentally appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, independence, and confidence. Whether it’s through play, storytelling, art, or interactive learning, we create opportunities for children to express themselves, build positive relationships, and develop essential life skills. We also value the importance of emotional connection and consistency. Children thrive when they feel loved, understood, and respected which is why we build strong bonds with each child and their family, fostering a sense of belonging and trust. Communication with parents is key, and we see our daycare as an extension of each child’s home. At Rise N Shine, we don’t just care for children we celebrate them. We rise with them every day and help them shine in every way.

At Rise N Shine in Deming, children thrive in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our focus is on nurturing cognitive and motor skills, as well as promoting social and emotional growth. What sets us apart are our enriching extracurricular activities in music, arts, and sports. Children enjoy learning together in mixed-age settings, fostering a sense of community and cooperation.
