About our program

Our little preschool has been around for 30 years. We have a very engaging program for the children, parents and community. The program follows NM PreK standards as we focus on giving the children a creative environment to learn and grow, exploring the world around them. Our school day starts at 8:45am and ends at 3:15pm, Monday-Friday, starting in August and ending in May, as we follow the APS school calendar. Summer camps are available for June and July on a structured schedule for continued socializing and language immersion. Our school provides a unique balance between thematically play-based centers and a real world atmosphere. Our academic structure focuses on language/literacy, science and math while they learn to navigate a classroom and make social connections, mastering executive functioning skills and emotional intelligence. Each child holds a special place at MKH and we truly love to watch them master their skills before sending them off into Kindergarten and beyond.
