Testimonials

“My kids and myself are going to miss you guys so much. Best daycare my kids have ever Been in!!! I highly recommend it. Great communication as well in between staff and parents. Unfortunately because of us moving and 2 of my kids staring a new school this year we’re not able to take them to this daycare anymore. Thank you Robin and your staff for the 2 1/2 years. Keep up the good work. God bless you!!! And again Thank you.” -Yared Morales

“Best learning center I have taken my children, I have been using them for more than 5 years and i have met all the teachers in all the rooms from infants to school age. I could not ask for better people to watch them I go to work knowing they are in the best hands. Thank you Little Flower staff for all you do for my kids.” -Melissa Cabrales

“My 3 year old had issues with 2 other daycares concerning potty training. They would force him into the bathroom while he kept crying. But since being at little flowers, he is getting so much better with potty training! He is never scared or mad to go to daycare anymore, and when they have him go to the bathroom, they give him privacy and ask him if he needs help. They don’t scold him for having accidents. And this daycare has been wonderful with my 1 year old transitioning to daycares. The workers all have families and treat my children as their own.” -Jean Beltz

Philosophy

Little Flower Learning Center believes that all children have the right to learn in an environment that is non-restrictive and stress-free. LFLC emphasizes meeting the needs of and understanding each child’s developmental level

Little Flower recognizes that all children develop at different rates and that each child has his or her own unique, individual needs, and cultural backgrounds. We welcome and embrace these qualities and model respect for all.

Children learn through play and everyday life experiences; therefore, it is essential to have classrooms that foster learning through hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities.

We believe that parents are a child’s first and primary teacher and that early childhood educators are an extension of that process. It is our responsibility to support and empower parents to make a lasting difference in their child’s life.

Our staff of caring professionals is committed to meeting each child’s individual needs by providing positive guidance, love, and nurturing support throughout the day.

About our program

LFLC admits children of any race, color, religion, and national or ethnic origin.

Little Flower Learning Center (LFLC) has served the southeast community for over 50 years. Little Flower is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). We are a non-profit center licensed by the State of New Mexico and adhere to all state rules and regulations governing early childhood education.

At Little Flower Learning Center, we recognize the importance of parental involvement in a child’s learning experiences, and parents are encouraged to participate in their child’s classroom activities. Several events are held throughout the year that allows parents and children to interact at the center.

Classrooms are kept neat and clutter-free to avoid unnecessary accidents while providing a safe learning environment. Each of our classrooms is bilingual in English/Spanish.
