Jennifer Jaramillo, Founder & Director Jennifer is a New Mexico Level III licensed teacher with a Master’s degree in Education and more than 20 years of experience teaching elementary students. She is LETRS trained, Neuhaus Literacy Certified, and has spent her career helping children build strong reading foundations through evidence-based structured literacy instruction.
Jennifer founded Reading Club after seeing the life-changing impact that personalized instruction can have on children’s confidence and academic success. She specializes in helping students strengthen phonics, fluency, comprehension, and math skills in small-group settings where every child receives individualized attention.
At Reading Club, Jennifer’s goal is for every child to feel known, encouraged, and excited to learn. She partners closely with families to celebrate growth and create meaningful learning experiences that help children thrive both academically and personally.
Dale Jaramillo, Teacher Dale is a New Mexico licensed educator with experience teaching elementary, middle, and high school students. He brings a calm, positive approach to learning and enjoys helping students build confidence through engaging instruction and meaningful relationships.
Together, Jennifer and Dale are committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment where children develop strong academic skills, confidence, character, and a lifelong love of learning.

At The Reading Club, we believe every child can become a confident reader with the right instruction, encouragement, and support. Our program combines evidence-based literacy practices with engaging, hands-on learning in a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to grow. We provide individualized instruction, small-group learning, and consistent progress monitoring to help each child build strong reading, language, and academic skills. We also believe learning should be joyful, confidence-building, and rooted in kindness, curiosity, and character. Our goal is to partner with families to help every child develop a lifelong love of learning.

The Reading Club is conveniently located in Northeast Albuquerque at the Mountain Run Shopping Center near Juan Tabo Boulevard and Eubank Boulevard. Our location is easily accessible for families throughout the Northeast Heights and is close to several neighborhood schools, parks, and residential communities. We offer convenient drop-off and pick-up with ample parking, making busy family schedules easier. Our welcoming learning environment provides a safe, engaging space where children can build confidence in reading, math, homework support, and enrichment after school.
