Hello! My name is Shanda Stutheit. I’m the owner of Bright Beginnings. I opened my childcare business in July of 2022. My educational background is in the medical field, but I’ve always worked with kids through coaching sporting activities and being a teachers aid.
Being a licensed daycare provider, I’ve been required to take multiple continuing education courses. Through these courses, I’ve learned a great deal about early childhood.
My favorite thing about being a daycare provider is developing relationships with the children and their families. I also love watching each child reach their milestones. With each milestone reached, it gives me such great satisfaction knowing I assisted in helping each child.

At Bright Beginnings, we learn through playing, singing and dancing! Children love to have fun, and be silly. Meanwhile, they are learning and they don’t even realize it! We use the curriculum “Sing.Play.Love” at Bright Beginnings. Sing.Play.Love is a curriculum that uses books, music, and play to help young children fall in love with learning.
