Philosophy:

Kids Korner Academy provides a nurturing environment where children play, learn, and interact with other children in a home-like positive atmosphere.

We believe that children develop into strong, independent individuals when given the proper opportunities to stimulate their growth in the developmental areas. Age appropriate toys, materials-oriented approach to education and a natural outdoor learning environment are the tools to help children develop their social, emotional, physical, language and cognitive skills.

We believe children learn best to respect differences when they interact in a diverse environment while understanding and building a positive relationship with cultures from different backgrounds.

We believe that our education base stems from the Montessori teachings since we believe that children learn best from self-directed activities, with hands-on learning that is supported by our collaborative network of supporters.

We believe that as childcare practitioners of young children it is our responsibility to be positive role models, observers, educators, facilitators and evaluators in order to ensure the child develop in all domains

We believe Kids Korner Academy is a firm foundation for teaching and enhancing self-esteem, self-worth and respect for others.

We believe children should be given the opportunity to express themselves creatively.
