Greeting Families!

My name is Sundra Hanna I am the owner of Sunny Kids Academy. I have over 20 years of experience working with children and families in the early care and education field. For the past ten years I have worked at Child Care Resources Inc. as a Parent Counselor assisting families with the importance of finding good quality childcare in the Charlotte and surrounding areas. Also, I have worked in a developmental day inclusive childcare center as the Educational Coordinator. I am a mother to two beautiful children who are also friends at Sunny Kids Academy. My education and qualifications are outlined below

Graduated from Johnson C. Smith with a degree in Health Education

Attended University of North Carolina Charlotte studied Child and Family Development

Stanly Community College Certificate in Early Childhood Administration

We believe in order for children to be successful learners it is our mission to start early and teach them skills based on their age and stage of development. At Sunny Kids Academy family is very important to me. I believe in supporting all families by assisting them with their family values and providing an open-door policy.

Welcome to Sunny Kids Academy, where a bright future starts and your child shines. I am delighted that you have chosen my family child care home. I look forward to working with you and your child. It is my pleasure to provide your child with a fun-filled early education and care in a home like environment. It is our goal at Sunny Kids Academy to make sure your child is well adjusted in a homelike setting where they are able to thrive and grow developmentally and academically.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/sunny-kids-academy-6532/apply – note that we require tours for all prospective families. Enrollment fee is $100 annually. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.
