Nuestros profesores
All of our teachers are CPR & First Aid certified. All of our teachers have completed the required CDA courses to be able to work in our learning center.
Together, we have over 15 years of experience working with and supporting young children. We opened our center in August 2013 to provide a different type of setting and environment for childcare, wanting to introduce technology to our younger generation at a younger age, along with incorporating art.
Our director LaMia Haggard is also a licensed nurse since 2005, making our center even more safe for your children!
Filosofía
In our program, we focus on play-based learning, as well as incorporating early introductions to technology. Our 2-year-olds are introduced to tech tools & skills with tablets, and in our 4-year-old class, children are given their own Chromebooks. We engage children using ABC Mouse.
For freedom of expression, we believe art is so important for this! We allow children opportunities to dance, incorporate music, as well as creative art throughout the day to express themselves. Children are also provided time outdoors to learn & explore throughout the day!
At least 4 times a year, children are given opportunities to participate in Learning Trips to the science museum, the zoo, the farm, etc. Our after school children are also given the chance to present in community robotic competitions, and they can also participate in dance extracurricular opportunities.

Ubicación
Our program is centrally located, in the heart of Vicksburg near historic downtown. We are located off Highway I-20, exit 1A near the Mississippi Bridge.

At our academy, we implement the concepts of science, technology, engineering, art, math, and early literacy through our play-based, child-led curriculum. We use the interests and ideas of the children as a jumping off place. The materials are open-ended and invite discovery. Children make their own investigations and draw their own conclusions whenever possible.
