Ms. Tekeia Gates, Director
Tekeia is an Okolona native with over five years of experience as a childcare provider, nthats where she found her love for working with and teaching children. she attended Itawamba Community College where she obtained her associate degree. Ms Tekeia is currently enrolled at Jackson State University pursuing her bachelor’s degree, in Early Childhood Education. She is dedicated to providing a loving and positive learning environment.

Welcome to Little Legends Learning Academy, where education is a dynamic adventure! Our play-based, child-led curriculum encompasses math, science, engineering, art, social sciences, and early literacy. We believe in nurturing curiosity by using children’s interests as a starting point, offering open-ended materials that inspire discovery. At our academy, young minds lead their investigations, draw conclusions, and revel in the joy of learning through hands-on exploration.

- Tour our program Come see what makes Little Legends Academy unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.
- Submit an Enrollment Application
If you’re interested in enrolling, submit an application by selecting Apply to enroll. If this option if not available, you can message the program director. Please do not apply to enroll until you have set up a tour and visited the program.
Registration fee and first month tuition must be paid for your child to begin.
