Our Teachers
Our names are Stanci and Shayne Long. We have both been babysitting since we were 14. Between the two of us, that’s more than five decades of bedtime stories, scraped knees, homework help, silly songs and tea parties.
We’re parents too. We have the firsthand experience with every stage of childhood from first steps to graduation.
Stanci is a teacher with 17 years under her belt. Shayne has been a chaplain for over a decade. We’ve both worked in children’s hospitals, church nurseries and classrooms.
Whether your child is here for a few hours or every day, our philosophy is simple: they will be safe and they will have fun.
Philosophy
Our learning pod is set up for safety first and then fun from then on. We both have experience with ADHD as well as autism and learning delays. We know it has to be engaging to be received by most littles.
Location
We are in a pretty chill part of the Joyner neighborhood right across from the elementary school and yes, the splash pad. Summer has been awesome so far! We also take regular library and Ballard Park trips as well.
