My name is Yvonne Norton Ewing and I am a retired licensed teacher with the state of Mississippi. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education in 2002 from Tougaloo College. During my years of public-school teaching, I taught Pre-K through Fourth Grade. I also worked with the Mississippi Action for Progress Head-Start Program for five years as an Assistant Teacher. Because of my love for working with children December of 2023 I officially opened my home up as a home daycare for the state of Mississippi.
My daughter Tralanda Norton will be assisting me. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Mississippi University for Women. She is a licensed nutritionist, and she is in the process of seeking her childcare certificate.
Filosofía
A place where every child can reach his/her fullest potential through the Montessori Inspired Curriculum. Teachers set up goal-based activities primarily through play to guide children daily, providing support as needed to ensure the goals are achieved. Knowledge retention is tested regularly to assess learning.
