Shelearria Marshall, Owner/ Director Graduated from Hinds Community College in 2020 with an Associates of Early Childhood Development, Shelearria wanted to extend her education at Jackson State University where she will receive a Bachelor in Family and Early Childhood Education May 2025. Her dream has always been to own her own childcare center and to provide special programs for her community. She believes that in order for children to be prepared for grade school, they must have an early childhood education.

At Rising Scholars Academy, believe that our program and services offer developmentally appropriate curriculum and we strive to enhance social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth in young children. Our program fosters curiosity, creativity and self-esteem by taking into account children’s abilities and interests. Child initiated and teacher supported play is an essential component of our program.
