Jasmin Kirkwood, Director With a love and passion for our little ones since childhood, Jasmin has been caring for and educating children since the age of 13. She began babysitting and quickly went on to integrate the educational aspect of her work with children via tutoring. She did babysitting and tutoring work throughout her life, until she went to college where she worked to receive her BFA from Savannah College of Art & Design.
She cared for two small children on a consistent basis throughout college, until her studies were complete. After a short time living in Miami, FL post-college, she moved back to Gulfport, MS, where she worked as a substitute teacher for 2 years, until the arrival of her own little one came to be.
She now spends her time loving, caring, and educating her own little one and extends the same love and care to each little one to cross her path!

At our in-home childcare center, we believe in fostering individuality and authenticity in each child, celebrating their unique qualities and interests. We emphasize emotional awareness and intelligence, helping children to understand and express their feelings in a healthy and constructive manner. JustSing Place is a cozy and peaceful in-home care center nestled in the Orange Grove area of Gulfport, within Coastal Breeze Villas, located right next to River Oaks Elementary School. Right now, our activities are centered indoors, but we’re excited to soon expand and include more outdoor fun!

We encourage children to be their most authentic selves and focus specifically on promoting “emotional awareness and intelligence” in all social interactions with children to provide them with the tools and understanding they need to best navigate life. Specializing in nurturing young minds, our hands-on approach cultivates a love for learning through engaging experiences and prioritizes holistic growth for each and every child!
