Dr. Shenika Kendrick has served as our Explorer teacher since the inception of The Anderson-Piquant school. She was instrumental in offering guidance on the classroom design at TAPS. We are delighted to welcome Dr. Shenika as our Executive Director. In this role, she will serve as our community instructional leader. Dr. Shenika has more than 20 years of experience as an educator, with most of her time spent serving Kindergarten through 4th grades. She currently serves as an Instructor of Elementary Education at Mississippi State University. Dr. Shenika is passionate about reading and teaching children how to read. Her passion for reading will ensure that our PreK scholars have the foundational skills needed to become proficient readers. Dr. Shenika is committed to supporting the instructional needs of both students and staff at TAPS. We are beyond blessed to have Dr. Shenika at TAPS. Please join me in welcoming her as our Executive Director.
