Maria Montgomery, Director:

I graduated from Southwest Community College with an AAS degree. I always wanted my own daycare center, so I went back to College to pursue my dream. I am a mother, a grandmother, and I have been working with children all my life, as a Sunday school teacher. I am very active in my community- I have served as a youth advisor and supported families and children of underserved communities. I love children-they’re my joy.

All the teachers working in our center are very experienced with children and love this work. All of our educators are certified to work with children and are CPR certified, with much experience (including a retired Head Start teacher).

At Kidz Kingdom Childcare Center, all families can be worry free and know that their child is safe & learning in our fun & warm environment. Your child will be cared for as one of our own.

We want our children to learn while having fun. Children love working with the different activities, manipulatives & games we have in our space.

We’re in a great neighborhood. We are less than 1 mile from the local Police Department and the hospital. The library and restaurants are also close. Head Start and Middle school programs are less than a mile away as well. The neighborhood is quiet & safe, surrounded by elders community with plenty of love. Parents loves this area.

Our mission is to prepare all children for the next transition & phase in their life, as they move into Head Start and Preschool Programs. We teach them their colors, shapes and numbers and identify ABCs, along with social-emotional development. We love doing as many family and community activities and events as we can, including participating in the Christmas Parade, the community Thanksgiving events, etc.
