Our Teachers
Ms. Asha has been working in childcare since 2012, beginning by caring for her brother’s young infants so he could return to work. She lovingly supported the children during evenings, weekends, and early mornings, and quickly discovered her passion for working with children through fun activities and outings like trips to the museum. Ms. Asha enjoys creating meaningful experiences for children and says caring for them has allowed her to experience the joy of motherhood all over again.
Ms. Binti has been working as a paraprofessional for the past 18 months, supporting students of all ages—from early childhood through high school—including children with autism and other developmental needs. She is passionate about building meaningful connections with each child, taking the time to understand their unique perspectives and helping them feel supported, valued, and understood.
Philosophy
At Ferus Child Care, we believe children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful hands-on experiences. Our play-based program encourages curiosity, creativity, and independence by allowing children the freedom to discover the world around them at their own pace in a safe and nurturing environment.
We value learning through all of the senses and provide a variety of sensory-rich materials and activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. Through free play, imaginative exploration, and engaging experiences, we strive to help every child build confidence, develop strong relationships, and foster a lifelong love of learning.
Location
Our program is located in St. Louis County near the Maryland Heights/Overland area. From I-270, take the Page Ave exit eastbound, then head north on Schuetz Rd and continue to Arnett Dr—the destination will be in a residential/commercial area just off the main road.
