Annette Smoote, Director
Annette’s passion for children begin in 1995 when she volunteered at a center where her own children were attending. The owners encourage Annette to come on board with them as a Lead Teacher. Annette realize that working with children required patience, love, and understanding all which she had. After carefully thinking, Annette switched her major from Accounting and later graduated from St. Louis Community College @ Forest in 2006 with an AAS degree in Early Care Education. She also received an BA degree in Human Services @ Columbia College in 2010. Annette has worked in Head Start Centers, Public Schools, and Family Services before co-operating C.A.U.A. Her favorite thing about working with children is the family orientated relationships she has with the children, parents and staff.
