My name is Jami Lacy. I have taught preschool aged children in public schools for over 8 years. I have an associates degree in Childcare and Guidance, a Bachelor’s degree in Child development, and completed Master’s coursework in Elementary Education. I have always loved working with children and it has been a dream of mine to own my own preschool and learning center. My wonderful husband and I have 3 amazing children and a very precious granddaughter. I love spending time with my husband, children and family, watching my son play baseball, being outdoors, thrifting, and relaxing on vacations. Life is full of surprises. “Enjoy the small moments. Our Program Philosophy

At Eagle Hearts Learning Academy, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment where children grow academically, socially, emotionally, and physically through hands-on learning and meaningful experiences. From August through May we will follow “ELM curriculum” for our preschool aged children. It stands for Early Learning Matters.

Our preschool curriculum is designed to prepare children for kindergarten while making learning fun and engaging. Through themed lessons, early literacy, math, science, art, music, sensory play, and fine motor activities, children build the confidence and skills they need for future success.

We also believe some of the best learning happens through exploration. Daily outdoor play, library visits, community experiences, and creative activities help children develop curiosity, independence, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong love of learning.

Our program is built on strong values. We teach children to be:

• Kind and compassionate toward others.
• Respectful of people, property, and themselves.
• Responsible and independent.
• Honest and trustworthy.
• Confident learners who are willing to try new things.

We understand that every child learns differently. We meet children where they are, celebrate their individual strengths, and provide encouragement as they grow at their own pace.

At Eagle Hearts Learning Academy, we partner with families to create a positive, consistent, and supportive foundation that helps every child spread their wings and soar.

The public school is a walking distance. We offer before and aftercare for school aged children. Myself or one of my staff members walks the school aged children over and pickups each day. Our local library is also a walking distance and we go 1-2 times a week.
