Welcome to Sunshine Daycare & Learning Center LLC Hello, and welcome! My name is Wendy Clark Chacon, and I’m honored to serve the families of Harrisonville and the surrounding communities. With over 10 years of experience in childcare — including the last four years dedicated to preschool education — I bring both professional expertise and heartfelt passion to everything I do. Working with children is truly my calling. I believe in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child can learn, grow, and feel valued. Each day, I strive to make a positive difference in the lives of the children I care for — helping them build confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning. The journey to this point has taken hard work and dedication, but it has been so rewarding. I’m deeply grateful to do what I love and to share that joy with the wonderful families I serve.

My philosophy is to always love, care, and nurture every child, touching their life and planting the seed of knowledge and curiosity. It is my duty and promise to help them be confident and guide them to be the best version of themselves. Learning through play is central to my approach, fostering self-confidence and a sense of belonging. Getting to know each child is essential to understand and adjust to their unique needs, honoring that every child learns in their own way.
