Welcome to Smart Start, LLC, a loving and educational home child care environment founded and led by a passionate educator and devoted mother. With over 15 years of experience working with children, I bring a deep understanding of early childhood development, individual learning styles, and nurturing care.

I hold both a Master’s and a Doctorate in Education. I’m dedicated to creating a space where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. As a proud mother of four daughters, I understand firsthand the importance of balancing structure with compassion. My goal is to help every child thrive emotionally, socially, and academically while feeling right at home.

At Smart Start, LLC, our child care program is centered around STEAM-based learning—Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math—encouraging children to explore, create, question, and grow. I believe that young minds are naturally curious, and I strive to nurture that curiosity through hands-on experiences that spark imagination and build critical thinking skills.

Equally important is helping children develop strong communication skills and emotional awareness. Here, we foster an environment where children feel heard, respected, and empowered to express themselves as they learn about the simple wonders of the world around them.

Our program is nestled in a peaceful residential neighborhood surrounded by natural beauty—mature trees, chirping birds, and the occasional friendly squirrel. It’s the kind of environment where children can safely play, explore, and feel connected to the world around them.

We’re just a short drive from several local schools and parks, making pick-up and drop-off easy and convenient for busy families. While the area is quiet and family-friendly, it’s also accessible by nearby main roads and public transportation routes, offering both comfort and convenience.

One of the things that makes our location truly special is our huge backyard, which we use as an extension of our learning space. We’re in the process of developing a children’s garden, where kids will get hands-on experience planting, caring for, and watching things grow, nurturing both their curiosity and sense of responsibility.

At our home, children enjoy a healthy balance of indoor learning and outdoor play in a safe, natural setting that supports their growth, creativity, and wonder.
