At Poppys Preschool and Daycare, our teachers love to teach and truly believe that we learn as much as the kids. We have a very low turnover rate and genuinely enjoy working with children.

Alex Nichol, Owner/Operator, preschool teacher Alex has been teaching preschool for 6 years. Her number one goal as the owner and teacher is to create long term partnerships with Columbia Public schools to ensure your child is ready for kindergarten.

Johnna Dopplick, Director, school age teacher Johnna graduated from Moberly Area Community College in 2016 with an Associates Degree in Education. She then went on to William Woods to take classes towards a Bachelors Degree in special education. Johnna started in the education world in 2017 as a lead preschool teacher. In 2020, she became a director. Her favorite things about her job is promoting her love for learning and making connections with the children.

Tara Sanders, infant teacher Tara started teaching infants in 2010. She enjoys teaching infants routine, singing, and reading books. Tara is known as the craft queen and baby whisperer.
