Annerys Fernandez I’m 13 years old living between Grand Rapids and Wyoming, MI. When I arrived in this country I wanted to study as a social worker, but the dream of working with children began several years ago and working with special children without knowing that God was going to send me a little angel, after I had my second daughter she was diagnosed with absence of seizures and later with autism spectrum disorder. I participated in various programs for my daughters and went to therapy with them; that helped me more in having more knowledge. I started working a part-time job doing an ABA behavior therapy for almost two years. This job motivated me more to learn about children and their education, their development, even more about special conditions and their education too. Later someone gave me the idea to start my own childcare program at home. I have a license since summer 2021.. Later I will start studying education.

My little sunshine childcare provide inclusive environments that accommodate children’s varied abilities, interests, needs, and learning styles. We believe that children learn best through meaningful play.
