Hi families!

My name is Kayah and I am the owner of Tot-ally Awesome Daycare. I have a lot of experience with children and I also have a 5 year old son. I love providing babies and toddlers a safe, caring, and educational place to go for care. I implement play based learning, along with some structured activities such as singing, reading, building blocks puzzles, arts and crafts etc. I think communication is so important for development for children and that is why I read a book or two to my son every night and will be reading to my daycare kids before their naps! My passions are being a good parent, daycare provider, gardening, reading and always trying to improve myself. In the spring, we will be growing a garden. I am so excited to help your little ones grow into happy, confident, and kind individuals! Thank you for reading!

At my daycare, I strive to provide a safe, welcoming, fun, and educational experience for all children. We name our emotions whether they be happy or angry, and we support emotional regulation by using breathing techniques, dancing, or singing! We do activities to promote fine and gross motor skills.

My program is special because everyday I strive to give all children the attention they need by talking, laughing, and being silly with them! We have low ratios so children get personalized time with the teacher. Children spend a lot of time outside, and love to visit our bunny “Mr. Buneroo!”.
