Hi! I’m Annette, and I have a deep passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development. With over 7 years of experience in early childhood education and care, I bring both professional knowledge and personal understanding to the work I do every day.

I hold a Master’s degree in Human Science with a focus on Developmental Sciences, which has given me a strong foundation in how children learn, grow, and thrive. As a proud mom of three wonderful kids — ages 7, 5, and 4 — I know firsthand the joys and challenges of parenting, and I bring that empathy and experience into my care for each child in my program.

I am dedicated to creating a nurturing, fun, and safe environment where children feel valued, supported, and free to explore. Based here in Springfield, MI, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve families in my community and help give children the best possible start in life.

We understand that childhood is a time of wonder, exploration, and discovery — and we are committed to creating an environment where learning and fun go hand in hand.

We see play as the child’s natural way of making sense of the world. Through playful experiences — whether building, imagining, creating, or collaborating — children develop important cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. We intentionally design activities and opportunities that spark curiosity, encourage problem-solving, and inspire creativity, all while allowing children to follow their interests and enjoy the process.

At Annette’s, we celebrate each child’s unique way of learning, knowing that meaningful growth happens when children feel happy, safe, and valued. Our goal is to nurture a love of learning that will stay with them for life — because when children are having fun, they are not just playing; they are growing, thriving, and preparing for the future.

Welcome to Annette’s Child Care Program! We are a play-based, home-like child care program in Springfield, MI, dedicated to nurturing young children ages 18 months to 5 years.

At Annette’s, we believe that children learn best when they are having fun. Our philosophy centers on the power of play — through hands-on activities, imagination, and exploration, children build the skills they need to grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually.

We are open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, providing working families with a safe, supportive, and enriching environment. We offer hot meals and snacks daily, so little ones stay nourished and energized for a full day of learning and play.

Potty training is not required to enroll, and we gladly accept subsidized care to help make quality child care accessible to more families in our community.

At Annette’s Child Care Program, we are passionate about helping children thrive while giving parents peace of mind. We would love to welcome you and your child into our program!

If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you’re interested in enrolling, submit an application by selecting Apply to enroll. If this option if not available, you can message the program director. Please do not apply to enroll until you have set up a tour and visited the program.
