A little background about us. Ericka and I have known each other for about 10 years. We worked together as youth leaders for a few years and grew to become close friends. A huge passion we share is wanting to keep kiddos safe and make them feel welcomed and showing them Gods grace and love. After a lot of prayer and talking with our husbands we decided that this is what was next for us!
I went to college after high school to go into the child welfare field. After working as a case aide in Muskegon and Holland area and doing an internship with CPS for a summer internship and I became very mentally and emotionally exhausted. I switched my focus on working in schools to be able to still work with kiddos and hopefully have a positive impact on their lives. I love my job at the school but after my husband and I became pregnant and began looking at daycares we realized how expensive it was and it was hard for me to trust a place to leave my kiddo with them. After sharing my concerns with Ericka we decided why not start a daycare for families in the same position.
Ericka is a mom of two energetic boys! She worked as a special education paraprofessional at Beechnau elementary school for about 2 years. She volunteers for many different things to have a positive impact for kids. She worked as the kids hope director or Ravenna for two years and volunteered a year and spent many Saturdays volunteering and helping with the Upward basketball program in town. She is currently leading a small group for a group of kiddos who wanted a safe place to go and continue to learn about God and ask those hard questions not many people are willing to answer. Ericka has always had a passion for working with kids and being that positive roll model in their life, even when it isn’t very fun or rewarding.

Angel Academy Child Care is a faith based childcare option for families. We want to offer a safe place for families to bring their kiddos while they are at work or just need a break. We will offer a wide range of hands on educational activities. This will be a space where your child feels safe, loved and welcome.
Ubicación
We are located in Ravenna MI, in a single family home. With the library down the road along with the bike path, Conklin park and Thatcher park just down the road for fun outings.
