Tawana Harrison, Owner

Tawana graduated Cum Laude honors from Ferris State University in 2019 with a criminal justice degree. She raised three children of her own and took in 3 other nieces and nephews before graduating. Her journey began at the age of 10 babysitting many nieces, nephews and cousins. She has background as an assistant childcare provider working in the medical field and human service field before venturing into opening her own daycare, which took place in 2025. Tawana‘s journey continued through working with both adults and children as a case manager working with disabilities and mental health concerns, only later to realize her true passion is working with children.

Here at Lex Rock Childcare, we thrive on making sure every child learn to develop greater strengths, skills, abilities and knowledge to extend their learning …while having a great time in a safe, diversified environment.

Ubicación

We’re located in the town of Burt but considering a Montrose address. We are in Chesaning school district on its bus line. We are within 5 minutes from the Taymouth Township Library. We’re 15 minutes west of Birch Run outlet and I-75. Our location is rural and peaceful with lots of open land to play outdoors.
