Jean Ramos, Program Director. I am a mother of 2 and grandmother of 8. I have experienced caring for my grandchild and love giving them time, attention, and love. This made me want to open a child care program to offer that to other children, where they have a trusted adult with them engaged and doing a variety of activities.

I take both a play and nature-based approach every day with children. I want to encourage them to explore, learn, and be curious. This includes both free play and guided play and activities. By combining these types of activities, children develop social, fine motor, and other needed skills. I let children’s interests guide us, and support them as they learn!

We are located in Kentwood near 52nd & Eastern We have a large fenced in play area. We are close to Glenwood School playground. We are close to two splashpads.

At our program, I tailor the approach to the child’s age to ensure they are receiving developmentally appropriate care. This includes discovery play as well as activities and crafts aligned with the seasons and holidays. Weather permitting, we spend a great amount of time outside exploring nature, walking, and playing! I have a large back yard, bikes, wagons, and plenty of outdoor play to ensure we can enjoy the outdoors together.
