Nuestros profesores

Before we meet, let me share a little about myself. I am married with three children and have always felt that teaching was my calling. With a background in education, healthcare & business I have always taught in some capacity. For the last seven years, I have worked as the Founder & CEO of Tamara C Gooch Coaching & Consulting, as a certified master life & business coach, international author, and speaker. All while being a mom who homeschools my youngest child. When I’m not teaching, my family and I enjoy traveling, and love being outdoors, cooking, and bowling.

The concept of STEAM Creative Scholars Preschool Daycare Center came from being married to my Lead Teacher, my husband who is a Mechanical Engineer of over 40 years. My favorite part is seeing students’ eyes light up when they grasp a new concept. It’s so magical!

Teaching is our calling in life, and we can’t wait to teach your little one. I can’t wait to meet you!

Filosofía

At our school, we strive to create a safe and caring community of young explorers inspired by the STEM/STEAM philosophy. Our program is a place where children can learn through doing, invent through making, and solve problems by working together.

We believe that when children are truly engaged with their environment, magic happens. Our team of experienced and innovative teachers does this by creating a space driven by the interests and ideas of the children who inhabit it.

Ubicación

We’re in a single-family home in the Grand Rapids/Kentwood neighborhood. With easy access to transit, everything from the Kentwood Library to multiple city parks is just a short walk away. We’re a few blocks away from various fun and exciting things to do, yet in a peaceful, quiet location with more space for kids to have fun - a parent’s dream!

At STEAM Creative Scholars Preschool, our program stands out for its holistic approach to education. 2. Tour our program Come see what makes STEAM Creative Scholars Preschool unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start hosting tours again in the future.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application If you’re interested in enrolling, apply by selecting Apply to enroll. If this option is not available, you can message the program director.

NOTE: Please do not apply to enroll until you have set up a tour and visited the program.
