Meet our Owner/Director: Ms. Jakisha

With over a decade of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Jakisha brings both passion and purpose to every classroom moment. Her journey began as a Children’s Director in a faith-based program, where she discovered her calling to nurture and guide young learners. She later spent four years working in a childcare center, building on her skills and deepening her commitment to early education.

Driven by a vision to create something more personal and impactful, Ms. Jakisha launched her childcare practice — one built on intentional care, meaningful play, and strong foundational learning. In addition to running her program, she offers traveling demonstrations and playdate experiences to engage families and children across the community.

Ms. Jakisha’s ultimate goal is to give each child a beautiful beginning, providing a safe, loving space where children feel confident to grow, explore, and prepare socially and academically for the next stage of their educational journey. Her heart is in helping little ones feel at home in the classroom and ready for whatever comes next.

At Kidz World Children’s Center, our philosophy is grounded in the belief that education is empowerment, and every child, especially those in underserved communities, deserves access to high-quality care and transformative learning experiences.

We intentionally nurture the whole child through a balanced focus on Physical, Emotional, Social, and Cognitive (P.E.S.C.) development. Every space and interaction at Kidz World is purposefully designed to inspire creativity, foster curiosity, and meet the unique needs of each learner.

Our educational philosophy centers on:
