At Sunny Patch Preschool we celebrate the magic of early childhood.
Our home daycare is geared to support little explorers 18 months to five years.
We offer a fun school readiness program in a mixed age group. Our play based preschool program is the perfect place for your child to discover a wide range of color, texture and creative movement using various materials. We offer many open ended preschool activities designed to facilitate your child’s development in our home daycare.

We believe in building confidence and self esteem through connections with loving adults.
The first five years are full of new milestones and BIG emotions! Your child is learning so much in that time, it’s no wonder they sometimes get overwhelmed. We believe in helping children learn to calm down by using a strategy called co-regulating where the caregiver stays with the child as he or she works through big emotions.
Throughout the morning we work also on many practical life skills and social activities that go more smoothly with extra adult support. We also work on deep breathing techniques, yoga and other methods of self regulation to help them feel more confident and connected.
In order to employ these strategies we have added an extra staff member above licensing regulations to provide support during the morning when children are most active.
At sunny patch preschool we pride ourselves on creating a calm atmosphere where children feel connected and supported by experienced staff. We also take additional training courses yearly that are specifically tailored to helping children navigate those big emotions in loving ways.
