Remona Young – Program Director/Owner

With over 30 years of experience in early childhood care and education, I began my journey as a teacher assistant at Sleepy Hollow Daycare Center. Over time, I expanded my role to include tutoring, and I went on to earn an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.

As a proud grandmother of six, my passion for nurturing and teaching children extends beyond the classroom. During the pandemic, I took on the role of teacher assistant once again—this time supporting my grandchildren through their homeschooling journey. My lifelong commitment to child development continues to guide my work every day.

At M&M Kid Zone, we believe that children grow and thrive when they feel truly wanted, safe, and loved. A sense of belonging lays the foundation for confidence, joy, and a lifelong love of learning.

We cherish the unique spirit of every child. Each one brings their own personality, strengths, interests, and abilities—and we’re here to nurture all of it. We believe that all children can learn, and it’s our mission to support their growth in meaningful and engaging ways.

Children learn best through hands-on exploration. At M&M Kid Zone, we provide opportunities for them to discover, create, imagine, and connect with the world around them. Whether through play, art, nature, or group activities, we encourage children to express themselves and build lasting skills.

Our goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where every child feels valued, capable, and inspired to shine.

At M&M Kidz Zone, we are proud to offer a well-rounded, globally inspired early childhood education. Our program goes beyond the classroom by incorporating meaningful community activities such as theater time, fine dining experiences, and peer teaching—all guided by caring and attentive staff.

Each month, children participate in thoughtfully planned activities designed to help them build real-world skills they can use in their daily lives. We believe that learning should be both fun and purposeful.

As part of our commitment to community connection, children will learn to recognize and appreciate the important people who help make our world safer and kinder—like firefighters, police officers, and the elderly. Through creative art projects and social visits, we foster respect, gratitude, and empathy.

At M&M Kidz Zone, we also make space for joy and celebration. We honor each child’s birthday, celebrate holidays from various cultures, and explore the beauty and changes of all four seasons.

Our goal is to nurture curious, kind, and confident children who feel connected to their community and excited to learn every day.

Come see what makes M@M Kidz Zone unique. If we are currently hosting tours, you can request or schedule a tour at the top of this page. If we are not currently hosting tours, you’ll see a “Request Info” button at the top of this page; if you submit your information using this button, we will notify you when we start host tours again in the future.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application

If you’re interested in enrolling, submit an application by selecting Apply to enroll. If this option if not available, you can message the program director. Please do not apply to enroll until you have set up a tour and visited the program.
