Hello, my name is Toryonna Welch, and I am the Director of Munchkinland 2.0. I started my journey into Childcare in the beginning of 2018. I enjoy children and love seeing them grow, learn and be happy. I have 1 child of my own. He is 7. My helpers are Whitney Hillman and Barb Hantz. Whitney is my main Assistant, and she has 2 small children who also attend Munchkindland. She is very kind and always happy to be here. She interacts with the children through songs and play. Barb is my retired boss who is my inspiration and mentor. She will occasionally sub when it is needed. She has her associates in science of early on Childhood education and is an absolute joy to be around. We love her visits.
Filosofía
I believe young child learn best through play whether it is adult directed, or self-directed. I offer learning experiences through music, art, science, social interaction and imagination. Parents and providers should work together to strengthen children’s educational style and interest, while promoting a heathy lifestyle.
