I have been working in early childhood education for over 8 years, supporting children through all developmental stages - from infants to Pre-K. Throughout my career, I have served as an early childhood teacher and Spanish tutor, gaining experience in both classroom learning and language development. I hold a CDA credential with a specialization in Preschool, as well as additional training in infant development, CPR certification, and medication administration. I have also attended multiple conferences and professional development courses focused on the Reggio Emilia approach, which strongly influences my teaching philosophy and the foundation of my program. Becoming a mother of two deeply transformed my perspective and strengthened my passion for early childhood development. It inspired me to create my own program, where I could support not only my children but also other families in a meaningful and intentional way. This vision became Hola Atelier a space designed for children to explore, play, create, and imagine while building strong connections with their teachers and peers. At Hola Atelier, we strive to create an environment that feels like a home away from home - safe, nurturing, and full of wonder - where children feel happy, confident, and inspired to learn through exploration of the world around them. My assistant teachers also bring strong qualifications and training to the program. 90-hour Child Care Certification and at least 45 hours of Infant/Toddler Development training. They are also CPR certified and continue to complete both required and additional professional development trainings through MSDE to ensure high-quality care and education.

Our Approach: Learning Through Wonder . A Play-Based and Reggio Emilia inspired program At Hola Atelier Early Learning & Care, we believe children are capable, curious, and full of potential. Our program is a space where: Curiosity Leads the Way: We follow the child’s interests, turning everyday wonder into meaningful early learning experiences. Learning Emerges Through Projects: Children’s learning is supported through ongoing, emergent projects that grow from their own ideas, questions, observations, and interests. These projects deepen thinking, collaboration, and discovery over time. The Environment is the Teacher: Children explore, play, and learn using natural materials, loose parts, and thoughtfully designed experiences. We create intentional invitations and provocations that spark imagination, inquiry, and investigation. Art, Music, and Language are Everyday Tools: Creativity is expressed through open-ended art experiences and music that support exploration, self-expression, and emotional development. Spanish is naturally integrated throughout all parts of the day, making language learning authentic, meaningful, and lived rather than taught in isolation. Play is the Foundation: Through play, children build social skills, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning in a natural, unhurried way. Every Voice Matters: We document and celebrate each child’s unique journey, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and valued. A Culture of Belonging: We nurture a strong sense of connection and community where children feel safe to explore, express themselves, and grow confidently at their own pace.

Our Role as Educators and Partners: We see teachers as co-learners and researchers alongside children, carefully observing, listening, and documenting their ideas to make their thinking visible. This documentation helps us understand how children learn and allows us to plan meaningful next steps based on their interests. We also value families as essential partners in this journey, working together to support each child’s growth, identity, and sense of belonging.

Our program is nestled in a peaceful, family-oriented neighborhood that offers the perfect balance of safety, tranquility, and community warmth. We are incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by local resources. What truly makes our location exceptional is our dedicated outdoor space. We feature a private, fully secure backyard shaded by beautiful trees, complete with a wonderful sandbox. It is a magical space designed for hands-on learning, where children can dig, build, explore, and let their imaginations run wild. Additionally, we are just steps away from a local park and sports court. We use both our yard and these surrounding green spaces as natural extensions of our classroom—the perfect setting for children to connect with the environment, run freely, and collect natural treasures like leaves, twigs, and stones for their daily projects.
