Hello! I am Fatima Santana, the founder of New Horizons. I was inspired to start my own program because I saw a need for high-quality care in my community. I have 13 years of experience working with young children and comfortable teach in both English and Spanish Languages.
Filosofía
We believe life is to be celebrated, especially childhood. We follow an emergent curriculum. We also find the fun in scheduling parties, dinners, birthdays, holidays and other key events that are exciting and important for children and parents. We believe these special moments combined with everyday moments of friendship and care are what make the important positive memories that children will keep forever in their hearts and minds.
Ubicación
New Horizons is located in a inviting, charming apartment in the Dorchester neighborhood.
Children will have some outdoor time everyday at a local park or playground. Children need space to run, jump, and move!
We’ve designed our care environment with play and learning areas that allow children to explore various developmentally-appropriate activities based on their interests. Some of our favorite areas include dramatic play area (for self-expression and empathy), nature area (for discovering nature and science concepts), and reading / cozy area (for literacy, relaxation, and respite).

At New Horizons Wonderschool, we see the child as an individual and we prioritize their emotional, physical, social and cognitive needs. We use the power of play to make learning fun and help children make meaning of their world. We embrace cultural diversity and infuse Spanish and Engish into our daily lessons

5:00 pmChildren are offered a variety of toys to play with while we wait for the parents to pick up. Toys are to be put back before the child leaves for the day.

3. Submit an Enrollment Application
If you would like to enroll, please submit an application at www.wonderschool.com/new-horizons-5624/apply – Please note that we require tours for all prospective families. Please do not submit an application if you have not visited the program.
4. Enroll
After reviewing your application, we’ll send an enrollment invitation. Upon accepting your invitation you’ll pay your enrollment fee, fill out enrollment documents and review our Parent Handbook.
