I have 3 children and their ages are 27, 25 and 23. I have 3 grandchildren. In my free time I love to spend time with my family. “I cannot say enough good things about the new Brookshire Learning Center on Yeager Road in West Lafayette. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s a warm and welcoming place where kids feel safe and happy. The facility is always clean, well-organized, and filled with fun and engaging learning materials that keep the kids excited about their day.

The teachers here are truly wonderful, especially Ms. Bailey and Ms. Jackie, and several other teachers and support staff. They all seem so patient, kind, and really connected with the kiddos. You can tell they enjoy what they do, and it shows in the way they interact with each child. The teachers and support staff make every attempt to make the learning fun, and take the time to make sure every child feels included and valued. Their curriculum is age and developmentally appropriate and includes lessons/activities on the five senses, emotional development and regulation, early literacy skills, etc.

Ms. Misty, the director, does an amazing job running the center. She is friendly, professional, and always willing to listen to parents’ concerns or questions. She works hard to create a positive environment for both the kids and the staff, and it really makes a difference. My kiddo never walks into the facility without an acknowledgement, hug, and positive affirmation for the day.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with Brookshire Learning Center (Yeager Road- West Lafayette). It’s a place where kids are truly cared for, and as a parent, that peace of mind is priceless. Highly recommend!”

At Brookshire Learning Center, the child comes first. We take pride in not only providing for their physical and emotional needs, but for their developmental needs as well. Our curriculum was created for its balance between both teacher-directed and child-initiated learning. It is our goal to help the children develop the passion for learning that they will carry with them throughout their life. Brookshire Learning Center uses a weekly theme based curriculum that is designed to foster social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development and to enhance learning in literacy, math, science, social studies, and the arts. This allows the teachers to plan and implement a developmentally appropriate, content-rich program for children of all backgrounds and skill levels that is constantly matching the interests of the students.

Our location is conveniently located withing minutes of Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. It is close to West Lafayette Elementary, Klondike Elementary and Burnett Creek Elementary schools. Bus routes are close by for those needing transportation. The center is located in a diverse, family oriented growing community.
