Our Teachers

Paola has worked as a Sunday school teacher for over 10 years amd volunteered at some childcare locations. She has obtained High Scope and CDA credential; now working to obtain her associate in early education. She believes that small class size and the development of a strong community allow her and her team to really know each child as an individual and to provide a solid and supportive foundation in the early years She has three children of her own, ages 5, 4, and 2. :)

Philosophy

We believe that each child is an individual and as an educator, I will value and develop each child’s strengths, interests, skills, abilities and knowledge to extend their learning.

Mimi & Friends Daycare’ goal as a faith-based center is to lay the foundation of faith and obedience to God. Our goals are also to establish and maintain a safe, healthy learning environment; to advance physical and intellectual competence; to support social and emotional development and to provide positive guidance; to establish positive and productive relationships with families; to ensure a well-run, purposeful program that is responsive to children needs; and to maintain a commitment to professionalism.
