Our Teachers
I have a bachelors degree in Early childhood Education. I have ran a day care for 5 yrs. I closed it due to having some health issues and to take care of my grandma who was dying with cancer. I then stayed home to take care of my granddaughter when she entered preschool that’s when I went back to work parttime at the preschool then went full-time there for 7 yrs. I have an associates degree in Elementary Education as well. I have 4 grown children from 32-25 and a soon to be 13 yr old granddaughter that I have raised since birth she calls me mom. I am also a licensed foster mom as well. I have worked at Home Instead Senior Care for the past 2 yrs. But I want to go back to working with children and being able to give my child and foster kids the care they deserve.
Philosophy
Teaching the children about being respectful, compassionate, sharing, loving one another. Doing no harm to anyone and showing empathy. Learning all they can learn.
Location
The location of the Day Care is 908 Corbin St It is close to Freedom Park and a few blocks from Washington Academy School. We are behind Harrison St and its one little road.
