Our Teachers
Maria Manges graduated in 1986 with a bachelors degree from Ozark Christian College, emphasis on education. She has earned her CDA and has over 25 years experience in the early childhood field.
Bettye Benjamin is a certified retired kindergarten teacher with decades of experience in the public school, Headstart, and other early childhood education settings.
Philosophy
It is our goal to instill a love of learning in each child before they go to kindergarten. We make learning fun within the theme-based curriculum using math, science, cooking, literacy in reading and prewriting, and we use all sorts of open ended art exploration.
Location
We are located across from the elementary school in Petersburg, IN. We are on Highway 356 or Alford Road between the VFW and 16th Street. You’ll find us on the north side of the road with an awesome new playground in the back of our facility.
About our program
At our school, we teach the concepts of math, science, engineering, art, social sciences and early literacy through our theme-based, curriculum. Our schedule is flexible depending on the children’s interests and discovery, but it is a structured class with open-ended opportunities for growth and individualism. Accredited with National Family Association of Child Care and Level 4 on Paths to Quality.
