Nuestros profesores

Teaching has been in my heart since I was in first grade. In 2021 I graduated from Ball State University with my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Special Education. My husband is also a teacher in our program and is exploring the possibility of obtaining his CDA.

We have been caring for children for nearly nine years this year, and we regularly volunteer in our church’s infant/toddler/elementary ministry.

Filosofía

Our mission at Seedlings is to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn, grow, and develop to their fullest potential. We strive to create a supportive community where every child feels valued, respected, and loved. Through a play-based curriculum, we promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, fostering a love for learning that will last a lifetime. We are committed to building strong partnerships with families, working together to meet the unique needs of each child. We aim to create happy memories, foster a sense of belonging, and prepare children for a successful transition to formal education.

Ubicación

We are located close to Hamilton Town Center/Ruoff Music Center in a single-family home. Easy access from I-69. Family-friendly neighborhood.

Just a few blocks away from Deer Creek Elementary School.

Acerca de nuestro programa

Our desire is for every child who enters our space to feel like it is their home away from home. We believe that children learn best through a structured environment and play. We utilize curriculum from Jackie Kop’s Pocket of Preschool and have monthly themes to keep our learning fresh and fun. Throughout our curriculum, we cover everything from literacy, math, science, art, and communication/social-emotional skills. Also, we love outside play as it gives children a chance to explore, have fun while building their bodies and minds, and just have fun.

We serve breakfast, lunch, and snack each day and provide all of the food/milk/water. We keep our menu kid-friendly while also making sure there are fruits/vegetables offered throughout the day. If you prefer to bring your own lunch, that is fine as well.

We take field trips in the Spring and in the Fall. Some of our past field trips have been to the Apple Orchard, Connor Prairie, and the Indianapolis Zoo. Our group is like a big family and building a community of families and friends is an important part of who we are.
