Our teachers are required to pass drug tests, and background tests upon hiring. The Ark teachers are also required to maintain 12 training hours per year. These trainings are done online as well as at in person conferences and workshops. The Ark prides itself in staff that builds relationships not only with the child, but with the family as well.
Philosophy
At The Ark, we pride ourselves on providing and being a Christian environment. We allow Christ to be the foundation upon how and why we operate. We feel called to share this with all families and individuals involved, both families and staff. Our goal is to lead each other and the children in our care toward an active life in Christ. We treat our employees, parents, and the children we work with as children of God, and handle all situations with respect, love, compassion, and honesty. We believe that this is the best way to help children, parents, and staff live a full life in Christ.
