My name is Antoinette Brandon, and I am the director of Peek-a-Boo Learning Center, a renowned child care facility. With a remarkable 26 years of operation, Peek-a-Boo has been a second home to countless children, providing them with a nurturing and enriching environment. However, my journey in early childhood education began even before the inception of this wonderful center. Over 30 years ago, I made a significant decision to transition from my role in the unified school district to the world of child care education. It was a pivotal moment in my career, as I felt a deep calling to make a positive impact on the lives of young children during their formative years. This move allowed me to channel my passion for early childhood education and fulfill my desire to shape the future generations. Throughout my extensive career, I have taken great pride in working with young children and helping them grow and develop. Witnessing their progress, curiosity, and boundless imagination has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The early years of a child’s life are crucial in laying the foundation for their future, and I consider it a privilege to be a part of this essential journey. As the director of Peek-a-Boo Learning Center, my responsibilities extend beyond overseeing the day-to-day operations. I have dedicated myself to creating an inclusive, safe, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration, social interaction, and cognitive development. I believe in fostering a sense of wonder and curiosity in children, allowing them to freely explore their interests while also providing them with a structured learning framework. One of the key aspects of my child care philosophy is recognizing and respecting the individuality of each child. I strive to create an environment where every child feels valued, appreciated, and supported. By understanding their unique strengths, interests, and learning styles, I am able to tailor our curriculum and activities to meet their specific needs. This approach ensures that each child receives personalized attention and is provided with the tools necessary to reach their full potential. Looking back on my journey in child care education, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunities I have had to make a positive impact on the lives of countless children. It brings me immense joy to witness the growth, happiness, and success of our students as they transition into the next phase of their educational journey.

Situated in a cozy residential area, our program is conveniently located across the street from the Lighthouse Premium Outlet mall. Nestled within a peaceful neighborhood, our childcare facility offers a homely atmosphere that ensures children feel safe, comfortable, and at ease. Our spacious family home has been thoughtfully transformed into a haven for little ones to learn, play, and grow. One of the highlights of our childcare location is our charming side yard, which serves as a dedicated play area for the children. The yard is carefully designed with age-appropriate play equipment, colorful toys, and ample space for outdoor adventures. From laughter-filled games of tag to imaginative play on our play structures, our side yard provides endless opportunities for children to explore, socialize, and develop their physical skills.

Moreover, we embark on a unique and exciting journey called “imaginative traveling.” Through books, storytelling, and interactive experiences, we transport children to different countries and cultures. They get to explore the wonders of the world, learn about famous landmarks, traditional clothing, languages, and customs. This imaginative traveling helps broaden their horizons, cultivates empathy, and encourages them to become global citizens.
