Our Teachers

Hello, my name is Angela Gehbauer and I have been working in childcare since 1996. It all started when I was taking care of my own children and saw an opportunity to open my own business. At the time, I had no idea that it would become such a fulfilling career for me.

As I began to care for more and more children, I realized that I truly enjoyed working in early childhood education. I loved watching the children grow and learn, and I found it incredibly rewarding to be a part of their development.

Over the years, I have worked with many different age groups and have gained valuable experience in how to best meet the needs of each child. From infants to toddlers to preschoolers, I have honed my skills in everything from feeding and diaper changing to lesson planning and behavior management.

One of the most important things I have learned in my years of childcare experience is the importance of building strong relationships with both the children and their parents. By creating a safe and welcoming environment, I have been able to establish trust and rapport with families, which has been essential to the success of my business.

Overall, I feel incredibly lucky to have found such a fulfilling career in childcare. It has been an honor to work with so many wonderful children and families over the years, and I look forward to continuing to provide high-quality care for many more years to come.

About our program

One of the things that sets us apart is our focus on preparing our students for kindergarten. We offer a comprehensive curriculum that not only teaches academic concepts, but also helps children develop important social and emotional skills. We want our students to be confident and ready to take on the challenges of school.

Another thing that makes our program special is our commitment to communicating with parents. We know that leaving your child in someone else’s care can be tough, which is why we send daily updates about your child’s day. We want you to feel connected and informed about what your child is learning and experiencing at our center.

We also love to celebrate our students’ milestones, especially their graduation from our program. We believe that each child is unique and special, and we take pride in helping them reach their full potential. Our graduation ceremony is a special event that recognizes each child’s accomplishments and hard work.

Last but not least, we have a special Christmas program every year that our 3-5 year olds participate in. We love to create a festive and fun atmosphere for our students and their families. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season and create lasting memories for our students.

At Artesians Childcare, we are committed to providing a high-quality, nurturing environment for all of our students. We believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life, and we strive to make that a reality for each and every child in our care.
