Erica Cyman - Owner/Provider/Lead Teacher
Erica graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 1996, and went on to pursue studies in Early Childhood Education at Ivy Tech. She received her CDA in 2006. Erica opened Blue Skies & Butteflies in 2000, after the birth of her daughter, Tory. 🩷🦋
Tory Haynes - Assistant Teacher/Provider
Tory graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 2018. She received her EFDA degree in 2020, but has since decided to pursue her early childhood dreams of working where she was raised. 🦋🩷
Location
We are located in Markleville, just off of US 36 on 300 E. We are minutes from East Elementary. Country setting with opportunity for the children to learn about gardening, chickens/eggs, animals, etc. We’re a quick commute to/from Anderson, Middletown, New Castle, Pendleton, and Fishers.
About our program
Blue Skies & Butterflies is a nature based, state licensed in-home daycare. We pride ourselves on happy children, a clean environment, and lots of loving, play-based learning.
