Throughout my entire life, child care has been my passion and calling. It all began formally 28 years ago when I decided to pursue a career in early childhood education. However, my journey in caring for children started long before that. This early experience planted a seed within me, igniting a love for early childhood education. I recognized the importance of providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children during their crucial developmental years. I wanted to contribute to their growth and help shape their futures positively.

Formally entering the field of child care 28 years ago was a dream come true for me. It provided me with an opportunity to channel my passion into a meaningful career. I immersed myself in learning about child psychology, early learning methodologies, and child development. Equipped with this knowledge, I embarked on a journey of creating an environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and love for learning.

Over the years, I have worked with children of various ages, from infants to preschoolers. Each child brought a unique set of challenges and joys, and I embraced every opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives. From planning engaging activities to promoting social and emotional development, I have strived to provide a holistic approach to child care.

I have witnessed countless milestones, celebrated first steps, listened to the first words, and witnessed the magic of a child’s imagination unfold. The bonds I have formed with both children and their families have been incredibly rewarding. It is a privilege to be trusted with the care and education of these young souls, and I take this responsibility to heart.

Located in a bustling commercial building, our center is designed to cater to the needs of families in our community. We understand the importance of convenience, which is why our location is easily accessible and offers ample parking for drop-offs and pick-ups.

At Sunshine Corner, we have four spacious classrooms, each thoughtfully designed to create a comfortable and engaging learning atmosphere. Our classrooms are bright, colorful, and equipped with age-appropriate materials and resources that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development. Whether it’s exploring science experiments, creating artwork, or engaging in imaginative play, our little ones are always encouraged to explore, discover, and express their creativity.

In addition to our daycare and preschool programs, we also offer school-age care for those families who need before and after-school care for their older children. We understand the challenges of balancing work and family life, and we’re here to provide a safe and nurturing environment where older kids can relax, engage in enriching activities, and complete their homework with guidance from our qualified staff.

Safety is our utmost priority at Sunshine Corner. We have taken great care to ensure that our facility is a secure space for all children. To that end, we have two separate playgrounds, each designed to cater to the different age groups. Our outdoor spaces are equipped with age-appropriate play structures, ensuring that children can enjoy physical activities while developing gross motor skills in a safe and supervised environment.
